Role of Student in Development of Our Nation Our national development agenda has its focus on rural development. Most of India dwells in rural areas and therefore the national development agenda rightly seeks justice for those who often live in poverty, in the state of hunger and malnutrition and deprived of clean environment, sanitation and medical facilities. Rural scenarios are generally represented by agriculture, which involves all the land-related activities, such as cropping, forestry, agroforestry, plant protection, horticulture, animal husbandry, poultry, rural-based agro-industries, and the likes. This should begin with special orientation inherent in our course curricula. The courses are natural allies of the rural development processes. But the pedagogic mechanism is unable to stimulate amongst the students any strong emotional affinity towards Indian culture, heritage and rural elements of national development paradigm. Students, unfortunately, keep on thinking about acquiring physical amenities and fat salaries through services in urban and industrial environments and/ or in western or Europea n countries. Our public system should make sincere efforts for creating employment opportunities in rural areas. Itââ¬â¢s important for companies to give coaching to employees so that their efforts stay aligned with the goals of the company and meet expectations. Employees should be rewarded at a high level to motivate even higher performance. The use of cash payouts could be used for on-the-spot recognition. These rewards have terrific motivational power, especially when given as soon as possible after the achievement. Even something as simple as a free lunch can go a long way towards making employees feel valued. Listen to employees and ask for their input as to what rewards might work best at your organization. This could be in the form of offering nontraditional work schedules (such as a compressed work week, telecommuting, and flextime) or extra holidays. When work-life balance is structured properly, both the employee and employer come out ahead. For example, the employer will experience more productivity in the workplace because employees will be less stressed, healthier, and thus, more productive (Wingfield). Encouraging employees to set work/life goals, such as spending more time with their children, communicates that you really do want them to have a life outside of work and achieve a healthy work/life balance. Foster trust and confidence in senior leaders. Develop strong relationships with employees from the start to build trust. Employees have to believe that upper management is competent and that the organization will be successful. An employer has to be able to inspire this confidence and make decisions that reinforce it. An employer cannot say one thing and do another. For example, an employer shouldnââ¬â¢t talk about quality and then push employees to do more work in less time. In addition, employers need to engage and inspire employees by enacting policies that show they trust them, such as getting rid of authoritarian style of management. HOW TRAINING WORKS IN RETAINING EMPLOYEES? Once skilled workers are nestled within any organizations there is a second challenge in keeping them there ââ¬â and here training and education can play a crucial role. Retaining good employees is critically important to a companyââ¬â¢s bottom line. Many companies that fail to place adequate emphasis on training make the mistake of assuming that pay is the only important motivating factor for their staff. In 1999 the Hay Group studied over 500,000 people in 300 companies to find out what promoted employee loyalty. The top three factors, mentioned by ninety percent of respondents, were; ââ¬Å"career growth, learning and developmentâ⬠; ââ¬Å"exciting work and challengeâ⬠and ââ¬Å"meaningful work, making a difference and a contributionâ⬠. Fans will not like it for sure. In this case I strongly differs fan concepts and amateur. And, as you know, Perumov was not just a bit (literally and figuratively) by these same fans I obviously did not from the great love:) But the philosophy of the book is much more suited rebellious and maximalist view of life . And these are the views and shared by the majority of teenagers. Therefore, just for those who are not fully understood and / or take a deep philosophical subtext Professors Perumov should come in handy. To me, both then and now, the early outlook Perumova much closer to Tolkiens ideas. Thats why this series of books I liked. Unlike most of my friends at that time, which was met with hostility and subjected to strong obstruction of the entire cycle of novels. Even though, in terms of artistic value, between the Lord of the Rings and dark ring gaping obvious gulf I still recommend this book to read. At least those who read this review before the end, and therefore are sufficiently interested in the topic.

Whether you think ofà Presidents Day as a patriotic celebration of our countryââ¬â¢s political leadership, or just a day off from work and/or school, itââ¬â¢s surely a good time to reflect on the educational legacy of President Washington and his successors. By ââ¬Å"educational legacyâ⬠here, we donââ¬â¢t mean the policies they introduced while in office or donations made to colleges; weââ¬â¢re interested in what our presidents were like as students. Harry Truman, College Dropout Not every president has been a ââ¬Å"classicâ⬠educational role model, with many not graduating at all. The most recent was Harry Truman, who dropped out of business school after only one semester. To be fair, he did drop out because of his familyââ¬â¢s financial problems rather than a lack of interest in learning. And he did later become president. So he must have been doing something right. A Very Different Playbook Would history have differed much had Gerald Ford accepted one of the two offers he received from NFL clubs after graduating from the University of Michigan? Thatââ¬â¢s ââ¬Å"Dr. Woodrow,â⬠Thank You Out of the 43 people whoââ¬â¢ve been president, one stands out for his educational achievements: Dr. Woodrow Wilson, PhD. The only president to have a college doctorate, Wilson earned a PhD in political science from John Hopkins University, producing a dissertation called ââ¬Å"Congressional Government: A Study in American Politics.â⬠He later went on to teach at Bryn Mawr College. So although Woodrow might be better known for his achievements as 28th President of the United States, from now on weââ¬â¢ll think of him first as an academic high-achiever. Happy Presidents Day!

This shift also marked a shift towards authorship of the autobiographical, in which the Italian poets of the middle ages utilized the written word as a ââ¬Å"confessional self-portraitâ⬠, where the words represented the poetââ¬â¢s innermost thoughts on such themes as life, religion, salvation, loss, etc. (2000, p. 7). Through a critical look at selected poems by Guinizelli, Dante, and Petrarch, the central theme of love will be discussed, as it is portrayed through the character of the heavenly or angelic idealized woman. Prior to a critical reading of the poetry, a brief biographical discussion on the poets is necessary to understanding the importance of the literary genre. In several of his poems, Dante referred to Guido Guinizelli as the ââ¬Å"father of me and father of my bettersâ⬠for having founded the school of poetry referred to as the dolce stil nuovo (Lambdin & Cooner Lambdin 2000, p. 248). Born in 1230, in Bologna, Italy, Guinizelli founded the new style of poetry, which included the literary contributions of several Bolognese poets, including the prominent poetry by Dante. Unlike the Sicilian poets, ââ¬Å"Guinizelliââ¬â¢s analogies, metaphors, poetic language, and concept of love reflect his effort to write not from the heart but from the head, and to analyze love and its effectsâ⬠(Lambdin & Cooner Lambdin 2000, p. 248). ... 248). His most well-known poem, ââ¬Å"Al cor gentil rempaira sempre amoreâ⬠critically analyzes courtly love by emphasizing the central importance of internal integrity as the true source of nobility, rather than basing nobility on status. He goes on to compare the noble love between a woman and man to the relationship between God and the angels. Dante used the image of Guinizelliââ¬â¢s noble lady in his anthology of works, entitled Vita nuova, and Dante accredits Guinizelli for playing the ââ¬Å"role of both poetic father and prophet in establishing the dolce stil nuovo manifesto as the poetic vehicle for articulating philosophic truth through loveâ⬠(Lambdin & Cooner Lambdin 2000, p. 249). Guinizelliââ¬â¢s most famous successor was Dante Alighieri, who was born in Florence in 1265. Seeing his life-long love, Beatrice Portinari, at the age of nine served as inspiration for his entire artistic career, and the love story between Dante and Beatrice unfolds in Danteâ⠬â¢s Vita nuova, which was written after (and inspired by) the deep emotional impact of Beatriceââ¬â¢s death in 1290 (Lambdin & Cooner Lambdin 2000, p. 118). During the political turmoil in Florence at the end of the 13th century, Dante was exiled from Florence until his death; according to Danteââ¬â¢s first biographer, Boccaccio, the meeting with Beatrice and his exile from Florence was the two more important events in Danteââ¬â¢s life which strongly impacted his artistic work. Written between 1293 to 1294, Vita nuova consists of thirty-one poems written to, and about, Beatrice, whom he viewed as ââ¬Å"representative of divine goodness and beatitude on earthâ⬠; and it is in this anthology that Dante rejects
